14 Purging RStudio Connect
If you would like to purge RStudio Connect from your server with all of its files and data, you can do it manually. Please follow the following steps.
- Stop the RStudio Service. (For more information, 2.2)
- Remove the
Server.DataDirdirectory. By default, this is
- Remove the logs in
- If you’ve defined
Database.Dirin your configuration file, remove that directory. If you haven’t, you can skip this step.
- Uninstall the RStudio Connect package from your system. On Debian-based installations, this can be done by
sudo apt-get purge rstudio-connect. If you’re on RedHat-based installation,
sudo yum remove rstudio-connect.x86_64.
/opt/rstudio-connectif it still exists.
