Specify version of guide

If you need the documentation for a specific version, replace the version number in the URL with your desired version: https://docs.posit.co/ide/server-pro/<version-number>/

If you are unsure of the version for the URL, then do the following:

  • From your server, run rstudio-server version.
  • The output should be similar to the following 
    2022.02.0+443.pro2 Workbench (Prairie Trillium) for CentOS 7

If you don't have access to the CLI, please view our stable (official) Releases page.

Please verify that the version number matches a previously released version. If you enter a version number that was not released, it will result in a 404.

  1. You may still find references to “RStudio” in our documentation, and some of those are expected! Several of our open source products will not change, like the RStudio IDE, while our professional products’ names have changed to “Posit”, e.g., Posit Connect. To minimize user confusion, past versions of our professional products will go by their old names until they are no longer supported.
